Sales for their first year of operation amounted to about $60,000. The first recorded sales revenues involved the machining and assembly of stainless steel pipe fittings, valves and other parts. Throughout 5 years of operation, the business had stretched to forty workers and their annual sales volume had increased to 330 thousand dollars. Today, Cascade is one of the leading international manufacturers within the material handling business.
